The Reinsman 656 grazer bit provides stability and tongue relief for your horse. This stainless steel bit has solid cheeks for stability that moderately curve backward, while the medium port has a good deal of tongue relief. This low leverage bit is ideal for a horse with a good mouth and neck reins consistently. Sweet iron is a preferred mouth piece material because it naturally rusts into a light patina to create a sweet taste for the horse. This makes the bit more acceptable by increasing salivation for a supple mouth. The cheeks curve backward, but not as much as on the 651 Reinsman "C" Bit. Stage C bits are built for riders and horses who love neck reining. Horses who respond well to poll pressure are in Stage C. A favorite among trail riders, cutters, reiners, and versatility trainers.
