You will be warm with these boots. They have a fleece lining with a 3mm highloft air trap layer and a 5 mm foam insulation layer and a rough textured nylon outer layer. These boots have a removable 6mm Nitrocell footbed with a 2mm natural rubber shell and self -hardening layers of epoxy impregnated material and operate in temperatures 60 to -40 Fahrenheit and a round toe. They consist of a rubber foot (with the reinforcement at the level of the teentop, Achilles tendon, and tibia), a shaft in chloroprene and a jersey lining of 5.0 mm thick, which means that the boot is suitable for prolonged periods of time within the specified temperature range. All Grubs footwear uses self-insulating INSU-FOAM ULTRA bootie construction which acts as a neutral medium between the wearer and the outside. This unique super stretch material is commonly used in deep sea dry suits, and has a 300% stretch rating. It is then covered with a 4 way stretch knitted nylon jersey which as suggested can expand not only in width but also height. In our 5.0 TECHNOLOGY boots, the bootie is lined with moisture wicking terry knit, which keeps the wearer dry and has a super stretch to fit most calves.
