Tack up with this bit from Classic Equine. This performance straight -shank bit with smooth bar has a 6 inch cheek and a 3 ½” shank and 2 ½” purchase. The ratio and the swept back shank design make it a mild cheek. The main point of contact is the corners of the mouth as it comes slowly as soft purchase to all points of contact. It may be used with a training for or martingale to encourage poll control and collection. The mouthpiece is inlaid with copper to stimulate salivation. It is curved for soft evenly distributed pressure to the bars.
